The Design
“The knitting is a walk in the park.”
This reversible stitch pattern is akin to a K2/P2 rib, but the rhythm ‘walks’ over by one stitch every other row (or round). This creates a subtle, diagonal texture that’s easier to knit than it looks!
Catherine Lowe’s Merino 5 flourishes in the walking rib pattern, knitting up into a fabric of grace and integrity. With an extremely stable stitch structure (thanks to the single, thread-like strands of extrafine merino) which are wound parallel, not twisted) and stunning stitch definition, Merino 5 promises your Walking Rib Cowl will retain its shape and appearance through countless wears and washes.
