This Shoulder Cozy is a capelet, poncho, and cowl all in one! Gather it up around your neck when putting on your coat or slip it down over your shoulders when you’re coat-free. It’s perfect for a bit of warmth over sleeveless tees and dresses!

We knit this version of the Shoulder Cozy in perhaps the softest yarn in Isager’s range—Soft. This aran-weight yarn has a chainette-style strand made of organic Pima cotton blown through with downy alpaca fibers. The result is a lightweight, airy yarn with a gentle, velvety halo! Soft is a great choice for knitters who love a fluffy look, but find fuzzy mohair yarns a little too ticklish.

FINISHED SIZES
Small/Medium: Approx. 16″/41cm long when flat; fits up to 56″/142cm around shoulders (bust+arms).
Large/Extra Large: Approx. 18″/46cm long when flat; fits up to 60″/152cm around shoulders (bust+arms).

YARN
2 (3) skeins Isager Soft (136 yds/125m each); or approx. 272 (408) yds/249 (373)m of an equivalent aran-weight yarn.

NEEDLES & NOTIONS
US 15 (10mm) 24″ circular needles (or size to obtain gauge).
Darning needle to finish.

GAUGE
Approx. 9 sts = 4″/10cm in garter stitch.
