The Design
“Stunning simplicity.”
We asked our friend, Catherine Lowe, for a simple ‘get acquainted’ project that would give knitters a taste of her meticulous methods and bespoke yarns. This stunner of a free pattern was the result! The riveting texture of seed stitch combined with Catherine’s precise finishing techniques make for a little scarf that’s exceptionally beautiful in its simplicity.
Catherine Lowe’s Merino 5 flourishes in this pieces’ seed stitch, knitting up into a fabric of grace and integrity. With an extremely stable stitch structure (thanks to the single, thread-like strands of extrafine merino which are wound parallel, not twisted) and stunning stitch definition, Merino 5 promises your Seed Stitch Triangle Scarf will retain its shape and appearance through countless wears and washes.
