The Mini Loopy Tree Skirt is so adorable, we can’t help but smile whenever it catches our eye—which is often. The combination of a squishy, super chunky-weight yarn and poofs of loop stitch at the outside edge is just so cute and cloud-like! This free pattern was designed to sit under a small, table-top tree, but we bet you can come up with other places for it—under a festive centerpiece, perhaps?

For this Mini Loopy Tree Skirt, we chose Wool and the Gang’s Crazy Sexy Wool. A super-chunky-weight yarn, Crazy Sexy Wool is a single ply of Peruvian wool—soft, squishy, stretchy, and so fun on the needles. It brings a bit of va-va-voom to even the simplest of stitches and in loop stitch, it’s voluminous to the max!

3 skeins Wool and the Gang Crazy Sexy Wool (87yds/80m each) or approx 261 yds/239m of a similiar super bulky-weight yarn.

7 large locking markers.
Darning needle to finish.

GAUGE
8 sts and 10 rows = 4″/10cm in stockinette stitch on gauge needle.
