The Design
“Think sleek.”
Inspired by a ready-to-wear Italian cashmere cap, we engineered our hand-knit version to be sleek and utterly seamless. The super-fine fabric is doubled at the cuff with a tiny joining welt for extra warmth (pop it with a contrasting color for a bit of fun). Okay, the needles are tiny and the details a little fussy, but it’s worth it—we think!
Catherine Lowe’s 100% extrafine, superior Merino 3 creates a Thinking Cap that overflows with grace and integrity. Its extremely stable stitch structure and stunning stitch definition is thanks to the single, thread-like strands of merino which are wound parallel, not twisted. A Thinking Cap in Merino 3 will retain its shape and appearance through countless wears and washes.
